Welcome all to our home!! Im 26 years old and have been married to the man of my dreams for 6 years, and have dated since 1999. I'm so proud of our marriage and the relationship we have. On July 28,2009, I gave birth to a beautiful little boy! Tyler John McElroy was 8.10oz and had a head full of hair. (That explained the heartburn!) He is the light of my life and what a blessing he has been in our lives. The 3 of us live in the country of Linden, PA in our 6 acre home with our lab named Riley, a shit-zu named Lucy and our outside cat named Suby. Its so peaceful out here and see much wildlife! My favorite is at night in the summer/fall all you can hear are the frogs, crickets and the deer bustling in the leaves. The best part is winter when I walk out on our deck and all you can hear is the snow falling! I thank God for our home and where we live. Believe it our not, when my husband and I were looking for a home, I never dreamed of a house like this. In fact, I balled when decided to get it. We loved the property but it wasn't my first "dream" home that's for sure. It needed so much work that it was over whelming! I then had in my head what I wanted for our home in the future, and got excited. I was inspired!! I could see our kitchen remodeled before it was even touched. Over the time period of 6 years, that dream was real. I wouldn't trade our home for anything, and we are both so proud of what we have accomplished. We now have more dreams but take it one at a time and know we cant do everything at once! Our dreams continue...We will be siding the rest of our home and have a lay out of our addition we will be adding next fall 2012 or spring of 2013. We are so excited! High cathedral ceilings, big log beams and a mountain stone fireplace that you can look over into our loft upstairs, New baby room( for the 2nd one to come in 2 yrs!), laundry room and master bedroom and bath! I praise the Lord for all his blessing and leading us to our home. People always say our home is so cozy. They want to grab a blanket and coffee and ball up on the couch. :) I love it!
I have many sides to me and different hobbies. Besides my love for decorating, I love to cook! I enjoy trying new recipes and making home cooked meals for my family 5 nights a week. I especially love to make food for people who are sick, lost a love one, or just to say I love you. I enjoy doing things for people and love to have company over! I have my own cooking page on Facebook with lots of recipes and over 700 fans!! I LOVE cars, anything with a motor really. I have had my car for over 10 years and is more in love with it than the day I bought it. I love doing performance stuff to it and help being hands on with my husband. (Seize the name "Boostedimpreza" !) Nothing wrong with getting grease on your hands! I have rode a dirt bike since the age of 4 and still ride to this day on my Yamaha TTR-125. I rode a street bike at the age 19 and my husband and I both ride to this day on our Honda VFR. Riding is running through my blood. We just love it! In fact, my husband and I are going to Hawaii in January 2012! (Never went on a honeymoon because the money went into our home) But we rented a Fatboy Harley Davidson for over in Maui for 2 days! Cant imagine riding along the coast of Maui on a bike! We are going for 11 days, 3 in Ohau, and 8 days in Maui. Honestly, it doesnt seem real yet!! Still dont know how Im gonna leave our son for almost 2 weeks! I know my momma is gonna take good care of him.
My husband works for the Stallion Oilfield Services. He has been working for the gas companies for over a year and half and really enjoys what he does. It can be long hours, but he never complains. I am a stay at home mother and wife and babysit kids 4 days a week in our home. Ive been doing this 3 years now and just love what I do. So blessed to be able to stay home and raise our son. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Babysitting isn't the easiest job, especially when I get 3-5 kids a day. But they are all such great kids. Im very lucky!
God and family are the most important things to me in life. Blessed with amazing family and friends! I dont take anything for granette.....I give all the praise and glory to my wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believeith in him, should not parish, but have ever lasting life!" John 3:16
Always be thankful for everything in your life, food on the table, roof over your head, a running car and running water, and a family who loves you!!! God takes care of us!! God bless you and thanks so much for allowing me to share my home with you!! So honored to have been October Homestead of the month!!! Hugs to all!
